Find us in the heart of Toronto
We're located on Wellington Street, in a historic building that's been part of Toronto's fabric for over a century. The neighborhood has changed around it, but the bones remain honest.
Address
123 Wellington Street
Toronto, ON M5K 1H1

If you're coming by transit, the King streetcar stops two blocks west. There's street parking available after 18:00 on weekdays, and a public lot one block north on Adelaide Street. The walk from Union Station takes about twelve minutes.
We close on Mondays to give the team time to rest and the kitchen time to prepare properly for the week ahead. If Monday is the only day that works for your event, reach out and we'll see what we can arrange for private bookings.

We read every message that comes through, though response times vary depending on service hours. If you're inquiring about a reservation within the next 48 hours, email is your best option. For questions about private events, dietary accommodations, or general inquiries, we typically respond within one business day.
The space seats eighteen people comfortably. Tables are spaced to allow for conversation without shouting. The atmosphere leans toward quiet rather than energetic, which seems to be what most guests prefer.
Dress code is relaxed. We've had people arrive in everything from jeans to formal wear, and both felt appropriate. What matters more than what you're wearing is that you're ready to enjoy a meal without rushing.
The dining room is on the ground floor with step-free access from the street. The washroom is spacious enough to accommodate mobility devices. If you have specific accessibility needs, let us know when you reserve and we'll ensure everything is ready.
We can work with most dietary restrictions given advance notice. Vegetarian and pescatarian adaptations are straightforward. Vegan preparations require more planning but are entirely possible. For allergies, we need to know beforehand so the kitchen can avoid cross-contamination.
If you're celiac, be aware that we bake bread daily in a shared kitchen space. We can offer gluten-free options, but we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment.
For groups of six or more, we offer the option to reserve the entire dining room. This works particularly well for celebrations where you want privacy without sacrificing the quality of a restaurant experience.
The chef will work with you to design a menu that reflects both the season and your preferences. Pricing varies based on the menu and wine selections, but typically starts around CAD 1,450 for groups of six to eight.
Street parking on Wellington is metered until 18:00 on weekdays and free after that. Weekends offer all-day street parking. The nearest paid lot is at 140 Adelaide Street West, about a two-minute walk from our door.
If you're taking transit, the 504 King streetcar stops at Simcoe Street, two blocks west of us. From Union Station, it's a pleasant walk through the financial district that takes about twelve minutes.
Toronto winters can be harsh. If you're visiting during colder months, there's a coat check just inside the entrance. The dining room stays warm but not overly heated.
In summer, we open the front windows, letting in the street sounds and occasional breeze. Some people love this, others prefer the quieter months. Worth knowing before you choose your reservation date.
If there's something we haven't addressed here, send us an email. We'd rather answer your question properly than have you arrive with uncertainty about what to expect.
